Quote A few months ago I had some interesting performance problems with OpenGL on OSX. I identified the problem and made some work arounds for development to continue. This week I’ve properly fixed the issue, and I want to record it here for myself and others to avoid this mistake.
Hopefully now the Mac OpenGL performance problems have been overcome, a Mac and Linux version of Banished can be released soon.
It's great to see the developer share what they have learned too.
I am really looking forward to playing Banished, it's one of those games I completely missed out on due to not buying Windows-only games.
